Toys for Tots Drive Kicks Off at Saint Louis Closet Co.

When it comes to the discussion about how soon is “too soon” to start getting into the Christmas spirit, people tend to think of the music and decorations. Here at Saint Louis Closet Co., we ask that you start thinking about the annual Toys for Tots Program instead. What is this program, you ask? Continue reading to find out how you can bring a smile to a child in need this holiday season.

Toys for Tots Explained

Since 1991, the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program’s mission has been to collect new, unwrapped toys during November and December each year. These toys are then distributed as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community.

Maplewood Toy Drive Kick-Off

Saint Louis Closet Co. has been an official drop-off site through Toys for Tots for several years. On Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m., we will be kicking off a toy drive event at our headquarters in Maplewood, MO (2626 S. Big Bend Blvd). Join us, alongside members of the U.S. Marines and Santa Claus, for coffee, hot chocolate, and bagels. Don’t forget to bring a new, unwrapped toy! Your donation could even help you win a Starbucks gift card.

Live on the Radio

Our good friends, McGraw Milhaven and Kelly Jackson, will be live on the radio inside our showroom the morning of November 13. Tune in to The KTRS McGraw Show during your early commute for additional information on the Toys for Tots Program and Saint Louis Closet Co.

Another Way to Donate

In case you can’t make it out to our event, new, unwrapped toys will also be accepted through Dec. 18, 2019 at Saint Louis Closet Co. Give us a call at 314-781-9000 for any questions or just stop on by with your donation. We’ll make sure it arrives in the hands of a child in need.
