Following our giveback efforts in June, Saint Louis Closet Co. is expecting Closets for a Cause to reach a total of over $50,000 donated since we first began our monthly giveback program! With your help, we know that we can continue giving back to nonprofits in need of funding. Speaking of which, we have selected our next partner for the month of July – The BackStoppers!
The BackStoppers
The BackStoppers supports families of fallen heroes such as police officers, firefighters/volunteer firefighters, publicly-funded paramedics, and emergency medical technicians (EMTs). They consider it an honor to serve the families of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Saint Louis Closet Co.’s Impact
Funds raised from Closets for a Cause will assist the nonprofit in their mission to provide ongoing financial assistance and support. This includes paying off all debt, providing health and dental insurance, reimbursing for out-of-pocket medical expenses, covering tuition and educational costs from day care through university, and assisting with miscellaneous extraordinary expenses. Their coverage area for families reaches 13 counties in Missouri and 5 counties in Illinois.

Many fundraising events have continued to be halted due to COVID-19, but our mission of serving families of fallen heroes remains active,” said Chief Ron Battelle, executive director at The BackStoppers. “Support from the community is vital to our mission.
