Closets for a Cause—Operation Shower

Through Closest for a Cause, Saint Louis Closet Co. has chosen the nonprofit Operation Shower to receive a portion of Saint Louis Closet Co.’s profits for April. Operation Shower’s mission is to host joyous, excellent baby showers for military families to ease the stresses of deployment and separation.

About Operation Shower

Since 2007, Operation Shower has focused on hosting baby showers for military families. These are large group baby showers where we bring families together.

Operation Shower typically hosts 500 families each year, with about 16 large baby showers. They have been hosting virtual and drive-through events during the pandemic, but the showers are typically in-person events.

Their work eases the families’ financial burdens and provides a day of joy, love, and connection.

The most gratifying part of working with the nonprofit is helping military families find joy during the difficult time of being separated from loved ones while expecting a baby.

Saint Louis Closet Co.’s Impact

“Operation Shower is so excited to be partnering with the Saint Louis Closet Co., as we love their mission of giving back to organizations within their community,” says Founder and Chief Shower Officer of Operation Shower LeAnn Morrissey.

The donation from Saint Louis Closet Co. will aid Operation Shower in providing much-needed items for these families, such as diapers, bottles, baby clothes, and toys.  It directly impacts how many moms-to-be we can serve!

At Saint Louis Closet Co., we’re proud to help these families and moms-to-be find comfort and joy during difficult times.
