Saint Louis Closet Co. is proud to partner with a new nonprofit each month through Closets for a Cause. So far in 2020, we have donated $18,653.66 to multiple local nonprofits, including Stray Rescue of St. Louis, Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis, Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis, National Council of Jewish Women – St. Louis, Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, and KidSmart.

Mission: St. Louis
Mission: St. Louis builds relationships with people to empower them to change their lives and end the cycle of poverty. They do this through education and workforce development programs by working hand-in-hand with schools. Once they have identified students that are falling behind, the nonprofit begins crafting an individualized plan for each one and works hard to make sure they achieve grade level by the time they start high school. This helps to stabilize the workforce – breaking the barriers that keep men and women from maintaining prolonged employment.
Our Donation
Funds raised through Closets for a Cause will assist the following Mission: St. Louis programs:
- Beyond School – An AmeriCorps program, Beyond School prepares students to enter high school with the social, emotional, and academic tools needed to be successful in high school and beyond.
- Beyond Jobs – Through a variety of ways, Beyond Jobs equips men and women with job training, a community of support, and employment opportunities so that they can access livable wage jobs.
Volunteers Needed – Affordable Christmas
Mission: St. Louis is making an impact around the St. Louis community, especially during the holidays. In 2018, they served over 300 families through Affordable Christmas. This program is an empowering event that offers a dignified way to help under-resourced parents to provide a comfortable and joyful Christmas for their children.
