Celebrate Women’s History Month with Jennifer Williams

Join business owner Jennifer Q. Williams and Victoria Babu on 1380 The Woman to discuss Women Making History Month!  Every March is designated as National Women Making History Month to ensure that the history of American Women will be recognized and celebrated in schools, workplaces, and communities like St. Louis.

The knowledge of Women’s History provides a vision of what women can do!  This knowledge can encourage girls and women to think larger and bolder and move mountains when needed.

This past Thursday (March 6th), The City of Maplewood, National City and Saint Louis Closet Co. were proud to sponsor the second annual “Women Making History” event honoring and recognizing Maplewood’s local women business owners during Women’s History Month.  It was held at Saint Louis Closet Co. in Maplewood from 5:30pm – 8:00pm.  Sauce Magazine Co-Founders Catherine Neville and Allyson Mace were the featured speakers. Food was provided by a number of Maplewood restaurants, including Jimmy John’s, Imo’s Pizza, Schottzie’s, Something Elegant Catering, LaChef and Cooperella. Wine was from Saint Louis Cellars.  The event drew in close to 300 people and was a huge success.  Thank you so much to everyone that came and/or supported this monumental event!
